Former super model and host of America’s Got Talent, Tyra Banks and her photographer baby-daddy, Erik Asla have called it quits after five years of being together. According to Page Six, the pair have been struggling to keep their relationship from falling apart since the birth of their son, York Banks Asla in January 2016 via surrogate.
Seeing that the centre can no longer hold, the pair decided to go their separate ways with Asla, a fashion photographer who has daughters from a previous relationship, moving out of their LA mansion. Good enough, the split came without any drama and both are more interested in co-parenting their young son the best way they can.
Sources say they have remained friends for the sake of their son. The pair met when Tyra was a guest on the Norwegian version of America’s Next Top Model back in 2015.
