Two-time PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, Oladipupo Adebutu has picked seasoned journalist, Yemi Kolapo as his running mate.
Yemi who is the Iyalode of Egba Muslims started out her career in Punch Newspaper as a business reporter. She rose through the career rung to become the first female Business Editor in the history of the newspaper. She later took a leave of absence to work with Olusegun Aganga, former Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment as his Special Adviser on Corporate Communications and Strategy.
After her stint at the federal level, she set up her own newspaper, The Point which has since transformed from being a traditional media to an online news platform.
