Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been sworn into office as President, Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, administered the oath of office on Tinubu at exactly 10:37am.

He mounted the podium alongside his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; former President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha Buhari stood behind Tinubu as he took oath of office.

Earlier, Kashim Shettima took the oath as Vice-President as exactly 10:28am.
