Details have emerged as to who truly owns Dowen College, situated in Lekki Phase one area of Lagos State, the boarding secondary school late Sylvester Oromoni jnr attended before his untimely death.

Late Sylvester’s cousin had sounded the alarm about the way and manner the 12 year old boy died after being transferred from the school’s sick bay to another hospital for treatment.

The school had said that Sylvester who would have been 12 today December 4, that one of the school’s hostel officials had informed the management on November 21 that the late student was injured while playing football with his colleagues.

But contrary to the school authorities’ claims, the father said his son, Junior was beaten and fed chemicals by students who constantly bullied the boy in the school.

Findings have now revealed that a Chief Olumide Philips, a member of the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, is the owner of the school.

What is more? One of his children, singer, Lami Philips is the director of student and external affairs in Dowen College, The Street Journal is reporting.

To avoid the backlash the school has been facing since the true situation of things got revealed, Lami deactivated her instagram account.

Actress Tonto Dikeh has called on Lami to be the bold and sincere one among the school management eager to cover up the atrocity going on in the school and give the grieving family some level of respect and the truth about what actually happened.

However, most of Lami’s friends in the industry have kept mute about this development prompting Ubi Franklin to accuse his colleagues of a cover up.
