About two weeks ago, Yinka Oredola achieved a significant milestone in her professional journey when she got conferred as a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, (FPSN). This was during the inauguration ceremony of Pharm Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim as the 24th president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and the investiture of new fellows into the body.

This accolade is not just a title but a testament to her years of professional hard work, dedication and commitment to the advancement of the pharmaceutical sector in Nigeria.

A professional pharmacist with a masters degree in Business Administration with expertise in the area of marketing, project and strategic management, Yinka has had a fledgling career in the pharmaceutical industry. She started her career with Sanofi Aventis and became the first female Executive Director of the then Nigerian Affiliate, May & Baker (M&B) as well as one of the pioneer directors of Biovaccines LTD, an M&B subsidiary seeking to pioneer the manufacturing of Vaccines in Nigeria. She exited her career with the company as a Chief Operating Officer and thereafter founded the Megacare Group in the Healthcare sector.

As an entrepreneur, Yinka’s innovation for business expansion got her veering into the energy, defense and construction sectors, executing high net worth projects through Petrobridge Ltd where she is the vice chairman and co-founder. She is also the founder of Megacare Pharmacy which once had a physical presence in Ikeja, Lagos but currently operates as an online pharmacy.

A fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, NIM, she is also a member of the International Institute of Directors, IoD, a member of the Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce amongst a host of other professional groups.

Yinka who used to be married to businessman, Chris Ochai is currently married to another businessman, Bosun Oredola who operates in the oil and gas sector. Bosun used to be married to Abiye, the daughter of Bishop Bola Odeleke of Power Pentecostal Mission fame until their center could no longer hold.

Sources reveal that Oredola’s rise in the business world was allegedly on the back of Bishop Odeleke while he was married to her daughter.
