Penultimate week, Pastor Joseph Adewale Adefarasin, the oldest of the Adefarasin brothers gave out his daughter, Ademide Omolara in marriage to her lover, Olanrewaju Akintayo Osinusi, a son to Professor Osinusi.
Ademide is his first and only daughter. The celergy man has two other sons. It was a three-day celebration of love, family, and faith.
The celebrations began with a traditional wedding ceremony which took place at the Harbour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Steering proceedings at the party was female master of ceremony and television presenter, Foluso Ogunjimi of the Sokoyoto fame.
The day after was the holy solemnisation which took place at the bride’s father’s church, the Guiding Light Assembly, Ikoyi.
The celebrations culminated in a heartfelt thanksgiving service at the same church where prayers were offered up for God’s goodness, faithfulness and God’s unending grace.
Not much is known about the groom, but Ademide is a design director at IDEO.org a nonprofit design studio based in New York.
