The president and founder, Consumer Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria (CAFON), a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to advocacy for consumer rights and protection in Nigeria, Sola Salako is married. The 50 year old got married quietly to her husband whose identity is shrouded in mystery on Wednesday July 12th.

News of her marriage which she broke herself on her social media took her friends and family by surprise with many however wishing her well in her new home.

Sola Salako who was somewhat a socialite was at a point, a very close confidant of Rev Chris Okotie. She not only worshipped under the leadership of the Reverend who once contested for the highest office in the country, the presidency, twice, she worked closely with Rev Chris for 19 years before she finally left. She was the church administrator and her life practically revolved around the church and the Rev.

In addition to running the CAFON, Sola Salako also runs Purples’ Consult, a marketing communications, advertising, branding and PR firm.  She is also a regular on Television Continental where she reviews newspapers every morning.
