Nigerian gospel artist, Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu aka Sinach, is set to perform at the World Leaders Peace and Harmony Inaugural Ball in honor of the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

This makes her the second Nigerian gospel artist after Nathaniel Bassey, billed to perform in activities marking the inauguration of Trump.

The event, organized by the African and Caribbean International Leadership Conference, will take place on January 20-21, 2025, at the prestigious Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The ball, themed around fostering unity and harmony among nations, will bring together dignitaries, diplomats, and global leaders.

Sinach, celebrated for her inspirational music and international influence, is expected to deliver a performance that aligns with the event’s focus on peace and collaboration.

The two-day celebration will include discussions on global harmony, cultural exchanges, and opportunities for international cooperation.

Donald Trump, representing the Republican Party, won the 2024 U.S. presidential election by defeating Democratic candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris.

President Joe Biden, citing health concerns, withdrew from the race in July 2024, paving the way for a contentious election season. Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president on January 20, 2025.

The World Leaders Peace and Harmony Inaugural Ball is one of several events marking the inauguration.

Sinach’s performance at the ball underscores the importance of cultural and musical contributions in fostering unity during historic moments.

The Presidential Prayer Breakfast, another unofficial and non-governmental event traditionally held before the inauguration, will also take place, continuing a long-standing tradition aimed at promoting spiritual reflection among leaders.

Sinach’s involvement in this high-profile event highlights the intersection of faith, music, and diplomacy, and her fans around the world eagerly anticipate her contribution to this historic occasion.
