Agatha Amata, creator of ‘Inside Out with Agatha’ has finally bowed out from her flagship programme, ‘Inside Out with Agatha’ which she hosted for 20 straight years.

Said to be the longest running independent television talk show in the country, Agatha Amata felt the need to revamp the talk show by stepping down as the host and giving the younger generation a chance to host the show. This she did by search for a new host through a reality show called ‘The Search’ which lasted for seven weeks and culminating into the show’s 20th year anniversary dinner to wrap up the programme of events.

The anniversary dinner which eventually held on Saturday at the Harbour Point, Victoria Island, had in attendance former governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan, his wife, Roli Sheila Uduaghan; president, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nike Akande; singer Nikki Laoye, friends and well wishers.

While Akande delivered the goodwill message, Uduaghan gave a testimonial narrating his first meeting with the host, Agatha Amata. The keynote address was delivered by Kehinde Bamgbetan, special adviser to the Lagos state governor, who represented governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

The evening ended with the announcement of Sandra Eze the eventual winner of ‘The Search’ reality show as the new face of ‘Inside Out with Agatha’
