Sandra Uzodinma, one of the daughters of Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma added author to her growing resume with the launch of her book, Postpartum and Beyond a book which analyses the critical issues of postpartum and maternal health in Africa.
Sandra drew on her expertise as a healthcare professional and personal experiences to advocate for improved maternal health practices in the book.
In the book, she explored how religious beliefs influence attitudes towards postpartum care, advocating for a holistic approach that integrates faith and medical practices.
“This book is borne out of my personal experiences, which shaped my perspectives and my quest for awareness creation to help women who are undergoing postpartum depression,” she said.
