The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church Taiwo Odukoya is dead.
He died at the age of 67.
The Lagos based preacher passed away in the United States on Monday.
“The Fountain of Life Church Family, in total submission to the will of God Almighty, announces the passing unto greater glory of our Father, our Teacher, a great servant of the Most High God, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA,” the church’s Facebook post revealed.
The cause of death was however undisclosed.
His death is coming almost two years after his second wife passed on.
Odukoya was a widower twice over.
He lost his first wife, televangelist, Bimbo in the ill fated Sosoliso plane crash of 2005 which also claimed the lives of hundreds of students of the Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja.
Before death separated them, Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya were married for 21 years. The union was blessed with three children – Tolu, Jimi and Tobi
His second wife, South African born Nomthi whom he married in 2010 passed on in 2021 having fought the deadly cancer disease for two years.
The union was blessed with children before she passed on.
Pastor Taiwo also lost his twin sister, Kehinde a few weeks after the death of Nomthi.
