Yesterday, former Abia State governor, Orji Uzor Kalu gave out his daughter, Neya Uzor Kalu in marriage to businessman, Lawrence Iyere with the crème de la crème of society in attendance. While the solemnisation of the holy matrimony held at the Catholic Church of Assumption, Ikoyi, Lagos, the wedding reception held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki Expressway. The bride, Neya who is a staff of Sun Trust Bank Nigeria Ltd, holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Buckingham, the same school she met her husband. The groom, a native of Irrua in Edo State and quite popular in the Lagos business and social circles, has interests in oil and gas, real estate and trading. He holds a master’s degree in investment and finance from the University of Buckingham. The couple had earlier held their traditional marriage in the former governor’s hometown, Igbere in August.
