R and B singer, Mary J Blige has been ordered by a judge to pay her ex-husband, Martin Isaac’s temporary spousal support of $30k per month, far less than the $130,000 he was originally seeking. The 46 year old singer will also have to pay retroactive support dating back to September, as well as his attorney’s fees, which comes to $235k.

This comes as a huge blow to Mary who had been fighting against the spousal support, accusing him of blowing money on his ‘girlfriend’ and claiming it as business expenses. Mary had filed for divorce from Isaacs, who is also her former manager, last year after 12 years of marriage over allegations of infidelity. Isaac has been reported to have cheated on Mary with her former protégé, a 28 year old singer named LaNeah Menzies aka Starshells. Mary had signed Starshell to her own Matriarch Entertainment record label, allowed her co-write a couple of her tracks, and often brought her to red carpet events to build her profile.

In court documents, Blige accused Isaacs of taking more than $420,000 and using it for what he called ‘travel charges,’ insisting the money was not spent on business-related activities or in activities that involved her.
