Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has said that the state had concluded plans to eliminate three more roundabouts from the Lekki axis to further ease and improve traffic management there. Ambode also said that the Ajah flyover bridge currently under construction would be completed and accessible to the public by the end of May.

The roundabouts to be eliminated include the one by Chevron, Igbo-Efon and the Third roundabout. The state government had demolished two roundabouts last December to ease traffic congestion in the axis. The governor said that so much positive impact had been felt with the elimination of some roundabouts in the Lekki-Ajah corridor last year.
