Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke like some of his colleagues, has joined politics under the banner of the newly registered Young Democratic Party as its Director General in the Diaspora. What is unclear however is if he will contest for an elective position.

Worthy of note is the fact that he has recently been paying visits to people who are politically inclined. From Abia state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at his hometown, to embattled Senator Dino Melaye.

It remains to be seen what his plans really are.
