Former minister of health and the executive director of the United Nations Populations Fund, UNFPA, Babatunde Osotimehin is dead. The former head of Nigeria’s aids agency, NACA and former Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, died in the early hours of today. Osotimehin who was appointed the fourth Executive Director of UNFPA in November 2010 and reappointed in August 2014 was aged 68.
