Nigerians, especially the women folks have shown and proven that they are capable of remarkable feats in different spheres of life and constantly breaking though the glass ceiling and now another Nigerian has written her name in gold. The person is none other than Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo, the first female Nigerian pilot with Qatar Airways as well as the first Nigerian female pilot to fly the gigantic Boeing 787 dreamliner aircraft. She is also the first Nigerian female pilot to fly the Boeing 767 aircraft across the atlantic. Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo now joins the likes of Kenya’s Captain Irene Koki, Ethiopia’s Captain Amsale Gulau and a few other African women who fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
