Former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke and now presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Donald Duke, scored a meagre six votes in his polling unit, loosing to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar who scored 291 votes.

The APC candidate, President Buhari got 98 votes. This elicited wild jubilation at the Ward 5, Unit 5 polling unit at Diamond Hill, Calabar.

Also the South South National Vice Chairman of the APC, Ntufam Hilliard Etta also lost in that unit as the PDP won the Senatorial elections by 207 while the APC got 193. The PDP also won the House of Representative elections as well.
