Celebrity Disc Jockey, Ifeoluwa Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy, has announced that as part of her goals for 2018, she plans to award scholarships to 10 students to study in the University. DJ Cuppy who is one of the daughters of business mogul, Femi Otedola made the announcement on her twitter page @cuppymusic.
“I plan to send 10 people to university this year and I’m so proud to say I have completed with my first student! Akeem Owolabi is off to Unilag! #Blessed.”

Owolabi who is the first recipient of her generosity is a year two undergraduate of Economics from the University of Lagos. He’s also a music producer and a married father of two boys. The scholarship which she is gave out is via The Isaac Olushola Educational Project for Students with Disabilities, an inclusive education scheme set up by gospel musician, Nikki Laoye’s Angel 4 Life Foundation.

The Isaac Olushola Educational Project for Students with Disabilities which has been running for the past seven years, was set up in honour of Nikki Laoye‘s father and it is an educational empowerment project that supports the education of visually impaired and physically challenged youths via the provision of scholarships, mobility assistance, braille educational materials and special learning materials required by students with disabilities with beneficiaries presently in secondary and tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
