Former gubernatorial aspirant and Senatorial candidate, Dapo Abiodun has lost his son, Gbemiga in very mysterious circumstances. Gbemiga who was more popularly known as DJ Olu and one of Davido’s official DJs was reportedly found dead in his car late Saturday night alongside a friend, Chime.

His father, Dapo Abiodun who recently expanded his oil and gas business, Heyden Petroleum, to include a fleet of petrol stations is beyond himself with grief. Davido  who made this public took to his snapchat an Instagram to mourn DJ Olu.

This will be the second friend Davido will be loosing in a spate of four days. Just earlier in the week, the singer lost a close friend, Tagbo who was in a relationship with socialite and former actress, Caroline Danjuma.  Caroline was the one who raised the alarm over Tagbo’s death after he was last seen with Davido who preferred to keep mum on his death before Caroline’s alarm.

A graduate of the University of Essex, United Kingdom in 2016, DJ Olu was in a very close relationship with Ajay, the last born of Oyo state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.  DJ Olu has also worked with heavyweights like, Wande Coal, Wizkid, Davido etc.
