Danbaba Suntai a former Governor of Taraba State, is dead. Suntai who sustained a plane crash in a helicopter he was riding in, in Yola in 2012, died in the United States of America.
He died in his home where he was receiving treatment for brain injuries arising from the plane crash which left him without the use of his legs.
A former Commissioner of Information in the state, Mr. Emmanuel Bello, confirmed the death of the former governor. Bello who served in the regime of Suntai, said “The former governor died in the United States.”
