Scores of young Nigerians believed to be employees of Heritage Bank PLC, on Monday, June 21, blocked the residence of Senator Andy Uba, demanding the repayment of the multi-billion naira loans he took from the facility years ago.

Andy Uba is a politician and was a former Senator representing Anambra South in the National Assembly.

In a viral video, the protesters who dressed in black tops and black trousers bearing placards with several inscriptions, demanded that the former Senator repays the loan he owed the bank to prevent the facility from going bankrupt.

The protesters expressed concerns that if the bank goes bankrupt, all depositors will lose their monies, and employees will also be sacked, leaving them and their families to suffer.
