The Kogi state police command says anywhere they see embattled Senator Dino Melaye now, they will arrest him. This announcement comes after this morning’s jailbreak at the ‘A’ Division Lokoja where two suspected assassins linked to Melaye fled police custody alongside four other ciminals. A statement by the state police commissioner, CP Ali Janga, says the six fleeing criminals, Dino Melaye and Mohammed Abubakar, son of former Kogi state governor Abubakar Audu, will be arrested anywhere they are seen. The command added that it has also alerted INTERPOL.

”Consequently, all the six suspects, Senator Dino Melaye and Mohammed Audu were sent for watch listing and red notice by the INTERPOL for immediate arrest any where we see them. The Command hereby appeals to the members of the public to assist the Police with useful information on the whereabouts of the suspects by reporting to the nearest Police Station.”
