Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have carried out a search operation at the Lagos head office of the Dangote Group.
The search is on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele as Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s spokesman confirmed the development.
A source at the Dangote head office said the operatives asked for documents on foreign exchange transactions with the CBN.
