Tantalizer Plc expands business frontiers, acquires Tade Ogidan’s entertainment company

Adam Nuru, a former managing director of First City Monument Bank, FCMB, has found a new home with Tantalizers.

He is currently the chairman of Tantalizers Plc, now a holding company for Tantainment Limited, a media and entertainment firm following its acquisition of Tade Ogidan’s media and film company as well as Tantalizers Fisheries Limited.

Back in 2021, Nuru was at the height of his career at FCMB when he was sent packing amid allegations of marital infidelity. He was accused of having an affair with a former official of the bank, Moyo Thomas while she was married to late Tunde Thomas. Friends of Moyo’s ex-husband had petitioned the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the regulatory body of banks in Nigeria, calling for Nuru’s sack while demanding a comprehensive investigation into the matter. They had alleged that Tunde died of depression after discovering that his supposed two children with Moyo belonged to Nuru. Nuru was subsequently asked to resign his position with the bank.

Since he joined the quick service restaurant, the struggling fast-food joint has made remarkable progress which has reflected in stronger revenue generation, improved finance income, disciplined cost management and sustained focus on operational excellence.
