The Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar has tendered his resignation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Abubakar’ who disclosed details of the  letter was tendered on Saturday August 24, said personal and family issues are among some of his reasons for resigning.

Abubakar who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018 thanked Tinubu for allowing him serve 15 months of his administration.
