Barrister Basirat Damilola Ayinde Marshal, daughter of Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has been appointed by governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as his Senior Special Assistant on Tourism. The musician while performing from his repertoire of songs at the coronation of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikirullahi Olamide Ayinde Williams (Osu Apena 1) Oba Odi Olowo took a few minutes to appreciate the governor for finding his daughter worthy enough for the appointment. A law graduate, Basirat likes to refer to herself as a celebrity lawyer was called to the bar in 2016. Until her appointment, she ran her own entertainment law firm, Damilola Ayinde Marshal and Co. She is also into real estate and operates under the name Damefemong Homes and Properties Ltd.
