Former Senate President, David Mark is bereaved.

The Benue State born ex army General has lost his first son, Tunde Mark.

Tunde reportedly passed on in the early hours of Friday in London.

A family source revealed that he died after a long battle with the deadly cancer disease.

His corpse may likely be flown to Nigeria in the coming days for proper burial

Tunde attended Yaba Military School, Lagos where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He then proceeded to Fernden Prep School, Haslemere, Surrey, the UK where he attended Secondary school.

A Biochemist, Tunde obtained a B.Sc degree from Kings College, London where studied immunology alongside biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, and Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He is survived by his parents, his wife who is the daughter of a Chinese politician and a daughter.
