Mel B’s estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte is reportedly demanding $30,000 per month in child support from the singer.
The singer and her husband of nearly 10 years are currently embroiled in a nasty divorce. Mel B came forward days ago with jaw-dropping claims of the physical and psychological abuse she endured in her marriage which led to a court granting her a restraining order against Stephen Belafonte.
Belafonte remained mute about the allegations until recently when he released s statement via his lawyer that Mel B’s claims were outrageous and unfounded. He also added that the AGT judge had created a false depiction of their marriage.
Now, there are reports that Stephen is demanding $30,000 a month in child support from Mel and is also asking that he be given the family’s mansion.
Mel officially filed for divorce from Stephen on Apr. 3, the two have a five-year-old daughter together.
