An Edo customs officer yesterday escaped the long arm of the law when he tried to wash off sand from some pieces of yam he was asked to deliver to someone abroad. In the process of washing the yam, he discovered the yam had an opening with drugs concealed in it. The culprit was eventually apprehended and invited to church where he was asked to give his life to church.
