Another shocking revelation has been made about the cause of the death of late Chief Lucky Adimike.
His children, Odirachukwu Anthony and Stephany Adimike alongside her friend Comfort Ajibade, have been directly accused of killing the businessman in his residence at Abuja.
Apart from the murder charges filed against the children by the police, Odirachukwu is also facing separate charges over same-sex relationship with an unidentified person, which is against the law in Nigeria. Similarly, Stephany and her friend, Comfort have been jointly charged with entering into a same-sex civil union. The charges were filed under the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act.
The late businessman was found stabbed to death inside his residence in the Guzape area of Abuja on May 15, 2026. Following the incident, five people including the deceased’s son, daughter, driver, gateman and Comfort Ajibade were arrested.
After investigations, prosecutors filed charges against Anthony, Stephany and Comfort, while the driver and gateman were let off the hook.
The court has adjourned the matter until September 30, 2026, after directing that all three defendants remain in custody until the next hearing.
