Just a few years ago, wearing a hijab as a Muslim was considered an aberration in the modeling world but today, 19 year old Somalian/American has broken all those rules and has emerged as the first hijab wearing model to be signed on to IMG, one of the biggest international modeling management firm. She is also the first hijab wearing model to walk the Yeezy fashion show and to compete in Miss Minnesota, USA.
