Barely a week after being sued for N97 million naira by US based model, Nneoma Anosike for using her photos without her permission, Wema Bank has again been called out for using the creative works of a New York based graphic designer and art director, Leta Sobierajski.

Leta is claiming that the bank stole the idea behind her project for their photo shoot. Writing on her Twitter, she posted photos of two of her works which is very similar to the recent photos the bank shared on their Twitter page called ‘Alat by Wema’

“What gives? You copied my shoot pose for pose.”

‘Alat by Wema’ is a new digital banking platform launched by Wema Bank in March signifying the beginning of a revolution in the banking industry, according to the bank. One wonders what both parties would do about this latest accusation.
