Lagos politician and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, Dr. Azeez Olajide Adediran more popularly known as Jandor, has given love another chance after ending his first marriage with Maryam, the mother of his two children.
Jandor married his new wife at a colourful private Nikkai wedding ceremony held in Qatar penultimate weekend.
Only a few of his friends and family members attended the wedding.
Jandor reportedly sponsored his closest friends and allies on an all-expenses-paid luxury trip to the oil rich Arab country for the ceremony. Much is not known about the new wife.
Unknown to many Jandor had parted ways with his ex-wife who is based in the United States.
She was however on ground in Nigeria to support Jandor’s governorship campaign two years ago.
In March 2023, he unveiled her to members of the PDP family at an event held in Lagos.
Speaking at the occasion, Maryam said, “I have been part of this movement and we – my husband and myself agreed that he would be in Nigeria to drive the movement while I will be in the US with the children. It is disheartening what people do in the name of politics on the social media. I am not a social media person but I read everything they put up there. I want to use this opportunity to thank you, our mothers, leaders of the party who have been supportive of my husband.”
Things however went south between the couple after the election in 2023, which later resulted in both going separate ways.
