Former president Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
His former aide, Bashir Ahmad announced the passing of the former president on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Garba Shehu, his spokesperson, also announced his demise on Sunday in a post on X.
“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin,” he wrote.
Buhari who was 82 years old died in a London clinic.
