American R and B star, The Weekend is embracing the world of fashion with his latest collaboration with Puma to be a global brand ambassador for the shoe company, and they are both gearing up to release the result of the collaboration soon. The vocalist posted a teaser photo on Instagram of his first sneaker collaboration with Puma, which featured what appears to be the sole of a shoe that reads ‘XO’ over the German brand’s signature logo with a caption, ‘Coming soon’.
The announcement of the shoe company recruiting The Weekend to join them as a global brand ambassador came in September which means their work together has been under wraps for over six months. He is following in the footsteps of other big names in the music industry such as Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Big Sean, who have all been brand ambassadors of Puma over the years.
