EFCC declares socialite, Adejare Adegbenro wanted for criminal breach of trust

In a statement by Wilson Uwurajen, EFCC’s head of media and publicity, the anti-graft agency disclosed that Adegbenro is wanted for obtaining money under false pretense, criminal breach of trust and issuance of dud cheque.

According to the statement, 50 year old Adegbenro is a native of Abeokuta, Ogun state.

His last known address is No. 8 Udi Hills Street, Off Aso Drive, Three Arm Zone, Abuja.

The EFCC urged the public and anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to contact any of the commission’s offices, police station or other security agencies.

Adegbenro is the grandson of Alfred Rewane, a financier of National Democratic Coalition, NADECO and was a close associate of Obafemi Awolowo.
