Abdullahi Abacha, one of the sons of late military dictator, Sani Abacha, is dead.
36 year old Abdullahi who reportedly died in his sleep on Saturday morning, was one of the nine children left behind by Abacha.
His death was confirmed by one of his older sisters, Gumsu, the estranged wife of Cameroun billionaire Mohamadou Bayero Fadil, who is now the second wife of Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni.
“I lost my younger brother, Abdullahi Sani Abacha. He died in his sleep. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jaanatul firdous. Ameen. Please include him on your prayers,” she wrote on her social media page
Abdullahi was said to have been hale and hearty the night before his death but unfortunately passed on at the family’s residence on Nelson Mandela street, Abuja
Meanwhile, funeral prayers for Abdullahi would hold by 4 pm at the National Mosque, Abuja, on Saturday.
