Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo has joined the league of entertainers veering into politics.
The talented thespian has indicated interest in running for the Federal House of Representatives in Asalga/ Akulga Federal Constituency of Rivers State under the platform of the Labor Party.
She has been painting the social media red with flyers of her political ambition.

The actress, on Wednesday, put out a banner announcing her intention in a now-viral tweet.

“My dear people, I write to apply. Yours obediently,” her tweet, branded with the Labour Party logo, read.

Dokubo has been very open about her support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the LP.

She had participated in a street rally in Port Harcourt which was put together by the youth in support of Obi’s candidacy.

Dokubo is joining the likes of Tonto Dikeh, Funke Akindele, Femi Branch, Desmond Eliot and others vying for a political post in the forthcoming general election.
