Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, is now a Chief following his conferment with the title of ‘Ikuku of Amumara’ Town, Mbaise in Imo State.

The movie star took to his Instagram handle to announce this and shared multiple photos. He wrote: Allow me to Re-introduce myself, I, Alexx Ekubo of Arochukwu, Abia State – has just been coronated IKUKU Of Amumara Town, Mbaise. IMO State. At the just-concluded Iri-Ji (New Yam Festival).

The Nollywood actor disclosed that he would love to be addressed as Chief going forward. He added: “Pls moving forward when you see me address me as a CHIEF, it’s official IKUKU is not a “nickname”. #IgboAmaka.”
