Daniel ‘Dan’ Foster, a prominent American broadcaster who plied his trade in Nigeria is dead. The veteran radio host died around 1pm on Wednesday of Covid-19.
His wife is currently at the isolation centre in Yaba as we speak,” said a source.

Prior to his demise, Foster, who is well known among his fans as ‘The Big Dawg’ and ‘Top Dawg’, worked with Cool FM, Inspiration FM, City FM and Classic FM.

He was a judge on ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent’ alongside Kate Henshaw, a Nollywood actress, and Yibo Koko, a comedian. The radio personality was also a former judge of ‘Idols West Africa’ series. He held a similar position with the ‘Got Talent’ franchise.

Dan left behind a wife, Lovina, a grown son from a previous relationship and three kids with his wife. He was aged 60.
