One of the members of the Lagos Social establishment, Ngozi Nkoloenyi recently joined the 60s club. But rather than throw an expensive and loud party, the fashion designer chose to have a sober reflection and celebrated it amidst family members in far away Burj Al Arab, Dubai. For five nights, Ngozi who is now a grandmother cruised and clubbed everyday with her children, grandchildren and in-laws.

Having lost her husband about six years ago to the cold hands of death, Ngozi thought it wise to take a break from the social scene which she dominated for decades. She now focuses her energy on her company, Bloomingdale as well as a subsidiary of it, La Valerie a one stop place for all things fashion, from fabrics, shoes, hats, jewelries etc. while also making out time to run her late husband’s business which she is the chairman of.
