Following an order by the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC to Oando boss, Wale Tinubu, to hand in his resignation while also barring him as well as the ompany’s board members from holding any director position in a public quoted company for five years, the Officers of the Nigeria Police Force took over the head office of Oando PLC in Victoria Island Lagos, today. Staff of the company stayed off work.

The Securities and Exchange Commission had said it had set up an interim management team to oversee the affairs of Oando pending when a new board will be reconstituted. The management of Oando Plc had last week vowed to take all legal steps to protect itself and interests.
