Somali-American model, Halima Aden is the first high-fashion hijab-wearing model to grace the cover of the magazine’s “Transformation” digital cover. In the interview with the magazine, she talks about being the new face of modest fashion, her Somali background, and the next big generation. In 2016, she received a lot of recognition for being the first woman to wear a hijab during the Miss Minnesota USA pageant and soon after became the first hijab-wearing model to sign with IMG Models.
