Organisers of the BET award have announced that this year’s winner of the Best Int’l Act category will be receiving the award on the main stage during the live event. This news was made known through the official twitter handle of BET Africa. This change of plans is not unconnected to how Wizkid snubbed the organisers the first and second time he won the award. He refused to turn up for because the awards presentation for Best Int’l Act (African) was not done at the main event. Naturally the organsizers were furious but he made his reasons known.
Nominees for this year’s BET International Act category include, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest, Distruction Boyz and Fally Ipupa.

The award ceremony will be held this year on June 25 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California.
