On Saturday 7th April, friends and family of former banker and now property tycoon, Bisi Onasanya, gathered at the glamorous Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the Dubai Marina for the union of his son, Damilola Tolulope Onasanya with his sweetheart, Sarat Oluwakemi Lawal. The couple marked the occasion with an intimate but elegant outdoor garden ceremony, overlooking the Persian Gulf. The bride’s father escorted her down the aisle in a traditional white agbada, merging the Western elegance of the ceremony with the West African essence that permeated through the event. The bride looked radiant in a stunning white dress which blended beautifully with the groom’s dapper white suit jacket. After some short and sweet vows, the newly-weds danced their way into the ball room, flanked by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, before ceremoniously cutting the cake and playing a few games, much to the amusement of all the guests in attendance. This comes after a lavish traditional wedding which held at the prestigious Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, earlier this month.
