Sophia the eerily human-like robot has just landed her first magazine cover with the British fashion magazine, Stylist. But rather than be blown away, many are divided over what this means for the future of fashion. Created by a Hong Kong firm, Hanson Robotics two years ago, Sophia is one the magazine’s cover as part of Stylist’s 400th issue, which explored the rise of artificial intelligence with robot-produced content, including photo shoots carried out by drones, saw Sophia in designer dresses. She even answered her own questions in the interview session. Sophia who got granted the citizenship of Saudi Arabia October last year, once said that she would like to start a family of her own. Sophia has a super-intelligent human-like head with a realistic face that is able to blink, look from side to side and talk. This month she was given a pair of legs to allow her to move around on her own.
