Even though she is now officially the ex wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Queen Zaynab has refused to let the effects of her marriage breakdown get at her or diminish her importance to the society, regardless of whether she is still an Olori or otherwise. The former Olori has continued to carry on with her philanthropic works as well her activism against domestic violence. Having seen how relevant she has remained, her profile has now taken a big leap with her recent appointment as a board member of the Beirut fashion Council. Sharing the news, Queen Zaynab said, “I am honoured to be a board member of the Beirut Fashion Council with His Excellency, Ambassador Alex Lenaert, the Belgium Ambassador to Lebanon; Mr Zikar Maalouli of Beirut Fashion Organization and Mrs Raghida Dergham. Looking forward to merging my culture, arts and fashion here in Beirut.”
