Nigerians are currently not happy with President Buhari for his latest in a long list of errors that he has come to be associated with. In his largest appointment so far since assuming office, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the constitution of the governing boards of agencies and parastatals and also appointed 209 chairmen and 1258 members to fill the board positions.

Among those he appointed are three men who have since passed away. Buhari appointed Rev. Christopher Utov as a Member of Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research. Rev Utov, the proprietor of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko passed away on March 17, 2017.

The president also appointed Chief Donald Ugbaja as a Member of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC). Chief Ugbaja, a former DIG of the Nigerian Police, died on November 29, 2017.

The third man, Senator Francis Okpozo, was appointed as Chairman of the Nigerian Press Council. But Okpozo, a Senator in the Second Republic, died on December 16, 2016. Infact, President Buhari issued a statement regarding his death while also condoling the family of the late Senator.

Nigerians on discovering this anomaly have taken to social media to voice their outrage.
