Former beauty queen, Regina Askia-Williams has officially become a US citizen. The former actress turned nurse took to her face book page to celebrate the milestone
“And so today I made it official. I took the oath and became a citizen of the United States of America. Empowered and armed for the full pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.”
The US based American citizen had purposely delayed becoming an American citizen as she was still nursing a political ambition. As a citizen now, she may have said her goodbyes to any political ambition.
